High Performance Computing
Yale University operates several high performance computing clusters through the Yale Center for Research Computing (YCRC). The Cowles Foundation has funded the purchase of nodes on the high performance computing (HPC) clusters Grace, which members of the Department of Economics can use. Each of these nodes has 20 CPU cores.
Faculty members and graduate students in the Department of Economics have access to a special queue that give them priority over other members of the Yale research community.
To request access to the Grace cluster node, members of the Department of Economics can submit an account access webform. Faculty members should identify as a member of the Department of Economics. Graduate students should include the name of the faculty sponsor of their research.
More information about the HPC clusters can be found on the YCRC website.
