Cowles Commission, Colorado Springs, 1932-1939
Excerpts from a note from James Tobin: "Here are some pictures of the Mining Exchange Building at the main intersection in downtown Colorado Springs ... the Cowles Commission was on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately the facade has been altered at street level by the bank — they always do such things! According to the information I was able to get at Colorado College, the original plan to lodge the Commission in an annex to the library was never implemented — the annex was not built. The 'old library' has since been demolished to make room for another building...."
