Max visited the Cowles Foundation as a Postdoctoral Associate for the 2022-23 academic year, and joined the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2023.
His research interests lie in econometrics and causal inference. He is particularly interested in questions about the design and analysis of experiments, as well as modeling unobserved heterogeneity.
