The Cowles Foundation hosts several distinguished annual and bi-annual conferences serving different areas of economic disciplines.

  • The Annual Conference on General Equilibrium and its Applications
    (a two-day conference normally held in late April)
  • The Cowles Summer Conferences
    (a six conference series in the programs of Econometrics, Economic Theory, International Trade, Macroeconomics, and Structural Microeconomics held annually over a week in early June)
  • The Tjalling C. Koopmans Memorial Lectures
    (a bi-annual lecture series hosting leading scholars who work in the spirit of Tjalling C. Koopmans)
